FOOD STAMP WEB SITES -  The government offers two websites regarding the Food Stamp program.  The first is a general information site that provides everything you need to know.  It is located at www.nal.usda.gov/foodstamp. The second provides the opportunity for a person or family to do a pre-screening on-line to see if it appears that the applicant would qualify for the program.  This site is located at www.foodstamps-step1.usda.gov.

HOPE CHEST - operated by Westark Church of Christ,  this is a service to assist families in need of furniture from time to time without charge to approved applicants (clothing is the primary service offered);  location is 717 North H Street in Ft.
